We were lucky to have participated in the fashion show last Sunday at Sunway Pyramid - Asian Avenue. However, 9 of the 12 t-shirts selected to be featured were rejected by the Sunway management. According to them, the t-shirts seemed too rude, vulgar, obscene, offensive, and to a certain extent, too pornographic. It was a funny thing to hear because we have tried our best to choose the tame ones... Afterall it's a fashion show where we are supposed to be loud and express ourselves freely right?! Besides, that's what urban TEE is all about, bringing today's urban young adults expressive t-shirts which says something, creating either a good laugh or a long stare. Anyhow, below are some of the pictures taken during our first fashion show. We welcome any kind of comments, suggestions, or criticsims, feel free to drop us a line.
